Western North Carolina is one of the best areas in the country to look for those "gems of the bird world", the eastern wood warblers. Over 20 species breed in the forests and woodlands around Asheville with another 15 or so species being migrants through our area. All of the photos in this gallery have been taken by Todd Arcos, one of our regular customers and an avid birder/photographer in our area. Please enjoy the photos but remember that they are copyrighted. Thanks very much.
