Sat, Dec 20 Guided hike at Chimney Rock State Park Take an off-trail trek in one of the rhododendron-blanketed ravines of Chimney Rock Park to complete the 2008 "Off the Beaten Path" Guided Hike Series. You'll see large trees, rocks, moss, and hopefully, some wildlife. This exploration will need good footwear, balance, and tolerance for occasional slips among sloping ground.
