Sat Nov 7 Birdwalk with Transylvania Count Bird Club - Little River sites: Meet at the start of Poplar Lane at 9 am and we’ll go in a group to Merrill Lane, Cascade Lake Road and other nearby places where birds are likely. Tues Nov 10 Wolf Howl at the WNC Nature Center 6 – 8 pm The WNC Nature Center invites you to an educational evening focusing on Red and Grey Wolves.  The evening will start indoors followed by a trek to our wolf compound for a howling session. Tickets are $10.00 per person and sold in advance only.  Please call (828) 298-5600, ext. 305

Riverside rock-hopping as much as possible, participants will have a glimpse into gorge life along the shady side of the river.
